Museum Otto Weidt’s Workshop for the Blind

The museum tells the marvelous story of Otto Weidt – a righteous among the nations, and his workshop which employed mainly blind and deaf people. During the holocaust, Weidt saved his Jews workers' lives, defended them and even helped some who were captured to escape or to be released from concentration camps. He also hid some Jews in a hiding place at the back of his workshop and in other sites.

It is a profoundly uplifting story about the power of good.

The entrance is free of charge.
